It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell everyone that yesterday, November 8, 2009, Ellie lost her valiant fight with whatever was ravaging her body. She gently passed with Kate, Lynn and her vet, Susan, by her side. While her body may be still, her spirit and memory will forever live on in the minds and hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is now running through the heavens.
Further tests are being conducted to verify what caused this.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. I will let everyone know when we have scheduled it.

ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you and everyone that has known Ellie. She was a great horse, I loved her and I only met her a couple times. She is in a better place now, but she will be missed.
