'"WILD WOMEN'S RETREAT"


WILD WOMEN’S RETREAT
October 9,10, and 11, 2009
You don’t have to be “wild” to attend,
but it may be “wild” in today’s culture
to give yourself time to rest, ride, and recreate.

So join us for an informal time of fun, fellowship, and laughter.
Agenda is flexible, but here are some possibilities:
Friday:
5:00 Arrival, settle in, choose sleeping location (woods cabin, tipi, bunkhouse bed)
6:00 Gathering
6:30 Supper - pot luck , bring salad, casserole, or dessert. Meat provided to be grilled.
7:00 Campfire and stories - Reminisce about your horse experiences – scary, special, funny.
Saturday
7:00 to 9:00 continental breakfast available
9:00 Horse time - instruction, grooming, trail ride
11:00 Choice time - work on an art, craft, photography, read, rest, hike
12:00 Lunch - make grinders
1:00 Quiet time - rest, read, write in journals
2:00 Choices:
Ride some more!

Nature journaling
Erect tipi
5:00 Supper preparations
Sunday - As we choose!!!!
Cost $195 includes riding instruction, riding time, board, and 5 meals in addition to the potluck.
RSVP to Kate Adams by October 7, 2009 with $50 registration fee.

YOUTH HORSES AND WOODS DAY CAMP


Youth Horse and Woods Camp
October 22,23 Thurs.,Fri 9:00 to 4:00
Ages 9 to 12 years with teen assistants
Natural Horsemanship instruction, care for a horse, ride, play
Woods activities - hike, build shelter, explore animal habitats, art
Bring lunch, drinks, and snacks
Fee $80 per day, multiple children discount
Childcare for additional hours $10/hour
Limited to 6 campers
Instructor Kate Adams Certified Horsemanship Association certified
Western and English levels I,II Master's Education
